About
Eclectic microbrewery crafting traditional lagers & European-inspired pub grub in lodgelike digs.
Their Story
Bohemian Brewery was founded in Midvale, Utah in 2001 by Joe and Helen Petras. Joe Petras brought the old-world tradition of European Lager brewing to Utah from Czechoslovakia, continuing a brewing heritage that dates back to the legendary Bavarian brewer Josef Groll who created the first modern pilsner lager in Bohemia in 1842. The brewery has been brewing European heritage lager beers and serving old-world comfort food in Utah for over two decades. Joe Petras passed away in 2012, and in 2018, Helen Petras sold the brewery to Canyon Culinary Inc, a restaurant group owned by partners Matt Bourgeois, Byron Lovell, and Brian O'Meara, who also own Porcupine Pub and Grille, the Dodo, and The Rio Grande Cafe.

The breakfast sandwich was absolutely insanely good and our serve mackenzie was very attentive and personable! The manager Cecelia was also wonderful and recommended the best pumpkin cheese cake we've ever had! Very much looking forward to our next brunch date here.
