About

A local favorite serving craft brews in the heart of Utah. Stop by to taste their latest creations and soak in the atmosphere.

Their Story

Prodigy Brewing Co. opened in July 2022, becoming Logan's first-ever brewpub and the first craft brewery in Utah's Cache Valley. Founded by Jason Smith, Matt Clyburn, and Rob Paul, the brewery was created to bring the community together through craft beer. The founders, whose friendships had grown through their shared passion for beer, wanted to establish a place that would serve as a community gathering space. Located at 25 W Center St in a transformed 122-year-old building that previously housed The Crepery, Prodigy features a two-story taproom with brewing equipment visible downstairs where patrons can watch the beer-making process. The opening was highly anticipated by local residents, with some Logan residents noting they had waited 30 years for a brewpub to come to Cache Valley. Prodigy Brewing is family-friendly, offering a menu that appeals to all ages, and focuses on locally sourced ingredients for both their beer and food. In 2024, they founded Community Craft, a non-profit dedicated to supporting Cache Valley's unsung heroes, with a portion of Monday beer sales dedicated to this cause.

Tried vegan here. It was my first time coming! The veggie pizza was really good. I'd eat it again. I also had the burger with mushroom and Swiss. Burger was a beyond patty, really dry and not tasty. Wasnt worth the price. I recommend trivia night on Tuesday. Great way to hang with friends.

This is a decent place to go to if you're looking to buy beer and/or cocktails or watch to watch a game. There's a trivia night that I find really fun and brunch on Sundays. The food is decent but ultimately I find it very overpriced for the quality.
