A local favorite serving craft brews in the heart of Utah. Stop by to taste their latest creations and soak in the atmosphere.
Their Story
Ogden Beer Company opened on January 12, 2023, taking over the former Ogden River Brewing space at 358 Park Blvd in Ogden. The brewery was founded by co-owners Brian Zinsmann and Lane Montoya (who also own Wimpy & Fritz taco shop), who partnered with Jacquie King as head brewer. King previously worked in research and development brewing at Roosters Brewing Co., where she had risen through the ranks and spearheaded Utah's first Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day. The trio created a Latino-owned and women-led brewery focused on creating an inclusive space where everyone can explore craft beer. The name "1851" for their flagship American lager pays homage to the year Ogden was founded. The brewery features a two-story outdoor patio space, a riverside patio for families and dogs, plus an upstairs 21+ patio, emphasizing their "brewery for all" philosophy. They also plan dedicated guest tap lines to showcase other Utah breweries and strengthen the local craft beer community.

Stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon. Not too busy. Super friendly staff. We had the avocado turkey bacon sandwich. Very tasty and super filling. Good beer. I really appreciate the bicycle parking!

This is my favorite place to visit regularly. Everything is amazing. Drinks, food, service, atmosphere, everything. You won't be disappointed.

We had a couple of flights and bought some merch. The beer was okay and fairly creative. The bartender Timothy was excellent. Perfect blend of responsive, attentive and leave-us-alone-we're-drinking-here. The food looked good. We'll swing back and try it out.

Chile verde nachos appetizer Dont go bacon my heart burger with fries Flatbread pepperoni 1 o-town punch cocktail Total bill 75$ Sat at table in center, chilly November lunch day and its cold in here. Probably wouldn't come back. Plenty of other better burger joints around. I dont understand what the fad is about not cooking burgers all the way through until there is no pink. Probably just preference perhaps but we dont like our burger patties pink on the inside. Very very good service though. And fun seasonal cocktails
