Their Story

Offset Bier was founded on September 10, 2021, by Conor Brown and Patrick Bourque in Park City's Iron Horse district. The brewery emerged from Brown's home brewing passion and marketing background, combined with Bourque's professional brewing experience. The two met through their shared love of home brewing, with Brown starting roughly six years before opening the brewery and envisioning a brand that could tell a story through marketing and promotion. After COVID delayed Brown's initial plans, he brought on Bourque in April 2021, and the pair worked 80-hour weeks throughout the summer to prepare for opening. The name "Offset" reflects their philosophy of being different and askew from the normal, offering customers something new and unique. The brewery quickly established itself as a community hub, known for its "No Flights, No Whining" policy and commitment to being behind the bar themselves to personally connect with customers. Located in a tight space behind their taproom next to Red Flower Studios, Offset has become known for award-winning low-ABV IPAs that defy expectations of what session beers can be. In 2025, the brewery announced plans to relocate to a larger space in Quinn's Junction to accommodate growth.
